Welcome to MedTech Marketplace 

By using our platform, you agree to play by the rules. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MedTech Marketplace — our website, platform, and related services (collectively, “the Platform”).

If you're here to shop, compare, quote, or sell medical products, you’re in the right place. Just read the rules, promise not to break anything, and we’ll get along just fine. 

1. What We Do (and What We Don’t) 

MedTech Marketplace is a centralised, company-agnostic platform that connects healthcare providers with medtech suppliers. Think of us as the digital matchmaker for the medical supply chain. 

  • We provide: product listings, pricing (when available), quote functionality, order tracking, and supplier contact tools.
  • We don’t provide: clinical advice, therapeutic endorsements, or directly fulfil orders unless specified.
  • We definitely don’t: wear lab coats or perform surgery (you wouldn't want us to). 

2. Who Can Use It 

You must be: 

  • A licensed healthcare provider, clinic, or procurement rep, or
  • A verified supplier or distributor of medical products
  • Over 18 and legally able to enter into binding contracts (aka no interns clicking “Accept” on behalf of the whole hospital) 

3. Accounts & Access 

You agree to: 

  • Keep your login credentials safe (no sharing your password with Carol from Radiology)
  • Only post accurate, up-to-date information
  • Not use the platform for anything shady (bot scraping, spamming, or impersonating a cardiac catheter — you get the idea) 

4. Products, Pricing & Orders 

  • Products listed on the Platform are provided by third-party suppliers.
  • We don’t guarantee pricing, availability, or delivery times — those are handled by the suppliers but we hold them to account!!!
  • Quotes, samples, and negotiations happen directly between buyers and sellers, via our tools.
  • Any contractual purchase agreement is between you and the supplier, not MedTech Marketplace. (We're the middleman — not the middle manager.) 

5. Returns, Refunds & Replacements 

Our suppliers set their own returns policies. If you need to send something back, it’ll depend on the product, the condition, and the supplier’s policy — not ours. 

That said, if something’s seriously wrong (like you ordered syringes and got shoehorns), let us know and we’ll help escalate. 

6. Liability Stuff (aka the Boring but Important Bit) 

We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but: 

  • We’re not liable for delays, product issues, or what happens after the order leaves the supplier.
  • We’re not responsible for medical decisions, procurement choices, or any bodily harm resulting from a misplaced retractor.
  • We reserve the right to change, suspend, or terminate accounts or access at any time — especially if you're being dodgy. 

7. Privacy 

We take your data seriously. Really seriously. You can read all about it in our Privacy Policy, but here’s the short version: 

  • We don’t sell your data
  • We only share info with suppliers when it helps you get quotes or manage orders
  • You can request access or deletion of your data at any time 
      

8. Updates to These Terms 

We might tweak these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll either post an update here or send you a nudge. Continued use means you’re cool with the changes.
